DirectionsFrom Durban on N3 (toll road) towards Pietermaritzburg:
After Mariannhill toll plaza, take first exit (exit 32 - Shongweni). At end of off-ramp turn right. After 1.1km turn left into Cliffdale Road (opposite Engen Garage). Continue on Cliffdale Road for 2.8km (over N3 freeway, down hill - 4 speed bumps at bottom! - up next hill). At top of second hill, see Summerveld Country Lodge signboard and turn left into Hawkstone Road. Continue on Hawkstone Road for 1km until tar ends. 30 m further turn right into Summerhills Avenue. Continue until you see the large Summerveld Country Lodge sign on the right-hand side.
From Durban/Pinetown/Kloof/Hillcrest on M13 (alternate route) towards Pietermaritzburg:
After Hillcrest/Winston Park, take first exit (exit 33 – Shongweni/Assagay). At end of off-ramp turn left. After 100m turn right into Cliffdale Road (opposite Engen Garage). Continue on Cliffdale Road for 2.8km (over N3 freeway, down hill - 4 speed bumps at bottom! - up next hill). At top of second hill, see Summerveld Country Lodge signboard and turn left into Hawkstone Road. Continue on Hawkstone Road for 1km until tar ends. 30 m further turn right into Summerhills Avenue. Continue until you see the large Summerveld Country Lodge sign on the right-hand side.

At top of second hill, see Summerveld Country Lodge signboard and turn left into Hawkstone Road. Continue on Hawkstone Road for 1km until tar ends. 30 m further turn right into Summerhills Avenue. Continue until you see the large Summerveld Country Lodge sign on the right-hand side.
